 Name: Atilla Adoption/ Rescue animal These tortoises are the 3rd largest tortoise in the world sometimes reaching 150 pounds. They are from northern Africa along the southern edge of the Sahara desert. These tortoises have a high fiber/no protein diet and feed primarily on grasses such as Timothy Hay, Bermuda Grass and common grasses and weeds from our lawns. He is also given green leafy vegetables and occasionally some bulk vegetables. |
